1 Project Introduction
The sound and light controlled smart lamp design based on NE555 integrates sound control, light control and time-delay automatic control technology. When the toggle switch S1 is not turned on, the VOUT indicator light will be powered on and light up when the microphone MIC collects sound. When the toggle switch S1 is turned on, it is self-locked by light control. When the photoresistor LDR is affected by light, that is, when the light is strong, it will not be powered on and light up even if there is sound; when the photoresistor LDR is not affected by light, that is, when the light is dark, the indicator light VOUT will be powered on and light up when there is sound. The lighting duration of the VOUT indicator light can be changed by adjusting the resistance value of the potentiometer RP1.
2 Overall Scheme
The overall scheme system block diagram is shown in the figure. The sound and light controlled smart lamp circuit is a sound and light two-level control lighting circuit. The induction control of the light intensity of the lighting switch is the first-level switch, and the induction control of the sound is the second-level switch. The delay control is realized by the monostable trigger circuit composed of the NE555 timer.

3 Circuit principle
The power supply part adopts a Micro USB interface sink board design, with 5.08mm_3P screw terminal on board, which can be connected to an external power supply and output VOUT voltage. When powered on, the diode D1 prevents backflow, the POWER indicator lights up, and the power supply is normal.
When the toggle switch S1 is not turned on, the photoresistor LDR does not work, the microphone MIC collects the sound signal, which is amplified by the transistors Q1 and Q2 to the 2nd pin of the NE555 timer to trigger, the 3rd pin of the NE555 timer outputs a high level, and the VOUT indicator lights up.
When the toggle switch S1 is turned on, when the light is strong during the day, the photoresistor LDR is affected by the light, the resistance value decreases, the voltage of the 4th pin of the NE555 timer is pulled down, and the NE555 timer is reset. Even if the microphone MIC collects the sound signal, the 3rd pin of the NE555 timer always outputs a low level, and the VOUT indicator does not light up. When the ambient light gets darker in the evening, the photoresistor LDR is not affected by the light, and its resistance increases. The voltage at pin 4 of the NE555 timer increases, and the NE555 timer works normally. The microphone MIC collects the sound signal, which is amplified by transistors Q1 and Q2 to trigger pin 2 of the NE555 timer. Pin 3 of the NE555 timer outputs a high level, and the VOUT indicator lights up. After the sound disappears, the NE555 is in a temporary steady state. When the voltage of capacitor C2 is charged and increases to the threshold voltage 2/3VCC of pin 6 of the NE555 timer, pin 7 presents a low impedance state, and capacitor C2 discharges to the ground through the inside of pin 7. The voltage at pin 3 becomes a low level, and the VOUT indicator turns off.
The length of time the NE555 temporary steady state works determines the length of time the VOUT indicator lights up. By adjusting the resistance of potentiometer RP1, the pulse frequency and duty cycle generated by pin 3 of the NE555 timer can be changed.
