Overview
1. The capacitance and voltage rating of the input and output capacitors, inductors, and MOSFETs in the schematic diagram can be replaced as needed for debugging.
2. The pull-up resistor under the NDP2450KC enable pin must be non-loaded (NC) for the chip to operate.
Update 240801----MX6605Q Debugging Phenomena: With a 1040 package 10uH inductor, input 12V, output 5.8V
, and a 30K frequency resistor set, the actual operating frequency is 234kHz. (See image below for 5.8V 3A). During long-term operation
, the temperature is around 65 degrees Celsius. A serious problem is poor load response; no solution found. The power drops when suddenly under full load from no-load. (See image below for no feedforward capacitor, and image
below for 100pF feedforward capacitor). The larger the feedforward capacitor, the slower the output voltage recovery . It recovers at around 16W output power; at higher power, the output trips to protection.
