KV series quad-core motor control

KINETIS-DRONE-REFERENCE-DESIGN

Overview

Quadcopter drones include a flight controller and 4 electronic speed controllers (ESCs), one for each motor. The flight controller is equipped with a radio to receive flight commands from the pilot and an inertial measurement unit (IMU). This reference design combines 4 independent ESC boards into one, controlled by a single KV4x or KV5x MCU, and can drive 4 brushless DC motor.
