DER-407 - 5.8 W high power factor, non-isolated, thyristor dimmable LED driver for A19 lamps

Overview

This document describes a non-isolated, high power factor (PF), thyristor dimmable LED driver that can provide LED light strings over an input voltage range of 90 VAC to 132 VAC (60Hz typical) Driver with rated voltage 48V and rated current 120 mA. This LED driver uses the LYT4311E device in the LYTSwitch-4 series IC. The topology used is a single-stage, non-isolated, buck-boost topology, which can meet the high power factor, constant current adjustment and dimming requirements of this design. This document contains LED driver specifications, circuit schematics, PCB design details, bill of materials, transformer specification files and typical performance characteristics.
