Lantern Based on ESP32
. This lamp is developed based on the ESP32 microcontroller and features a built-in temperature sensor and a reserved display interface. It uses a 3W LED flexible light strip. The design is based on a palace lantern model, and
you can attach pale yellow paper inside for light transmission, enhancing its aesthetic appeal. The model uses frosted glass, which is also quite attractive. The HanDeng can turn
on and
off based on time or the ambient light level (using a photoresistor for measurement).
The lamp
uses LED flexible filaments, powered by 3V, with a 1W output, wound around a cylindrical element in the center of the model. Testing showed good results; the brightness was sufficient and the charging/discharging was even.
The charging/discharging
board integrates the charging/discharging circuitry and has a reserved battery terminal for normal battery power. It also
includes a reserved display interface and a 1.3-inch display board.
This screen board is the same one used in Zhihui Jun's HOLO monitor. The square screen can display interesting patterns and temperature/humidity information, but this is not yet developed; the current plan is to develop an elegant menu to display more information. The screen is designed to be placed at the top for display. If glass is used for the front and back panels, openings for buttons and Type-C ports need to be provided.
The attachments
include a demo video, a 3D model, the firmware used in this demo, and a simple host computer program.
I've been quite busy lately, so only a single software demo has been written. It automatically turns on when it's dark and turns off when it's too bright. There's also a simple lighting control program; you can input 1 to turn the light on and 0 to turn it off on your computer.
