Build your own flight simulator touch panel (ESP32-S3 + Nextion serial port screen)

This video demonstrates a mini touchpad with a rotary encoder designed specifically for flight simulators.
 
The design aims to create a versatile, easy-to-build, low-cost, and compact controller to reduce mouse activity in virtual cockpits.
It showcases the latest update to the touchpad mini-panel. Support for 7-inch touchscreens has now been introduced.

Note that there are currently two versions of the code:
for 7-10.1 inch screens - TMP4.04.18.zip
and for 4.3 inch screens - TMP2.12.25B.zip

For those who don't yet have a screen or are waiting for one, all you need is an ESP32 development board and a USB to TTL adapter to use the simulation function of the host computer software to experience how the finished product works.
