This module aims to further reduce the PCB area required by common WiFi modules such as ESP12E/ESP12F/ESP12S. The through-hole design saves PCB space. The module also retains most of the commonly used GPIO pins. Since ESP8285 = ESP8266 + 1M flash, it reduces the waste of external flash space and is perfectly compatible with the code of common WiFi modules such as ESP8266.
