This verification design utilizes a triangle wave generator and comparator to generate a pulse-width modulated (PWM) waveform with a duty cycle that is inversely proportional to the input voltage. The op amp and comparator generate a triangular waveform, which is then passed to one input of the comparator. By passing the input voltage to the other comparator inputs, a PWM waveform is generated. Negative feedback from the PWM waveform to the error amplifier is used to ensure high accuracy and linearity of the output. This design was constructed using the OPA2365 op amp, TLV3502 comparator, and REF3325 reference. Learn more about TI's high-precision designs
TIDM-CAPTIVATE-64-BUTTON TI reference design demonstrates an ultra-low power touch panel with 64 buttons that can be controlled from a single MSP microcontroller (MCU) with CapTIvate™ technology. The design uses mutual capacitance technology to ensure that all 64 buttons are tightly packed and can be controlled with just 16 MCU pins. This touch panel easily connects to the CAPTIVATE-FR2633 MCU target module included in the MSP-CAPT-FR2633 MCU development kit.
Common robotic arm controls are developed from CNC, emphasizing constant speed and stability in the motion process. Many controllers use hybrid PID for speed control, which generates great acceleration during the startup phase in order to quickly reach the set speed. Due to the solid state of the solid itself Stiffness, this drastic speed change is very effective for CNC machining scenarios or general solid handling scenarios. However, it will have a huge impact in liquid handling scenarios, so new control methods need to be proposed. This control method must control the acceleration
This reference design delivers an accurate output current limit solution for the TPS61088 boost converter. This feature is realized by an output current sense resistor and a low cost operational amplifier. When the output current is higher than the current limit point, the output of the operational amplifier will be higher than the TPS61088’s 1.204V reference voltage. So the output voltage drops. If the output current continuously increases, the output voltage will be further decreased. Thus the maximum output power will always be limited below a certain level.
The REF_5QR1070AZ_33W1 auxiliary SMPS reference design for refrigerators operates over a wide range of inputs and was developed with offline SMPS applications in mind. Using dual isolated outputs, the +12V rail powers the relay, while the +5V rail powers the MCU and various sensors. It adopts the new ICE5QR1070AZPWM quasi-resonant flyback, equipped with 700V integrated CoolSET™, and adopts DIP-7 package.

It integrates TI's MSP430FR2633 microcontroller (MCU) with high-performance CapTIvate™ touch technology and the TPS7A4533 linear regulator and UCC28910 flyback switch. This reference design demonstrates how a design that can pass challenging conducted RF immunity, electrical fast transient/burst immunity can be designed using a trinity design approach that includes hardware design techniques, CapTIvate technology peripheral functionality, and software signal technology. Hardware and software for system-level testing of electrostatic discharge immunity and electrostatic discharge immunity.
This application note presents a reference design for a rear combination lamp (RCL) LED driver in a 3-series, 3-parallel (3S3P) configuration. Using the MAX16823 linear driver and external BJTs, this design provides 200mA per string as well as enhanced heat dissipation. Also included is PWM dimming circuitry for tail-light inputs and full brightness for brake-light inputs. Double-battery and load-dump conditions have been taken into consideration.
The TIDA-01570 reference design is a complete solution for 76 to 81GHz radar sensor modules. The onboard power supply converts the vehicle battery input to the power rails required by the radar AFE, processor and CAN-FD transceiver. After processing, the target data is made available via the included CAN-FD physical layer.
MiniQ is a mini quadcopter that is open source from hardware design to control algorithm. The algorithm used for the Altitude Heading Reference System (AHRS) is the DCM complementary filter. The system calculates the height and controls the output PWM of the four motors 1600 times per second. It can be controlled remotely via Bluetooth (Bluetooth Serial Port Profile).
