The holiday lantern controller circuit made with SH-803 integrated circuit is shown in Figure 2-58. The AC power supply is rectified by VDI~VD4
, stepped down by R2 and limited by VD5, and then outputs about 4.5V DC for integrated block A. Using electricity, resistor Rl
provides AC synchronization signal for the integrated block. After power-on, its output terminals L1~LA (i.e. pins 3~6) output trigger signals to control
the conduction angles of thyristors VSI~VS4, so that the colored light string H1 ~H4 automatically cycles through eight program patterns. If you press switch SB manually,
you can choose any change pattern.
