As shown in the figure, the feedback amplifier circuit that drives the control pin of the VCA610 gain produces a temperature compensated logarithmic response. The VCA610 provides a 250kHz (-3dB) logarithmic (Log) amplifier with low offset voltage and low gain drift. In terms of temperature control, the exponential gain control feature of the VCA610 allows a simple temperature compensated logarithmic operation response to be generated.
