Interface circuit composed of 8255A and single chip microcomputer

The figure below shows the interface circuit between 8255A and MCU. In 8255A, D7~D0 are used as address ports, AO~A1 are used as address ports, WR (the inverse), RD (the inverse), CS (the inverse), and RESET are used as control ports.
Because all registers and I/O ports of 8255A have corresponding read and write addresses, it is possible to address each I/O port and control word register of 8255A. 8255A will work only when A15~A8 is 01111111 and A6~A2 is 11111.
