Only when several conditions are met can the contactor coil be energized. This can be achieved by connecting several normally open contacts in series with
the coil . Figure 1-2 is a reverse braking control circuit for one-way operation . For contactor
KM2 to be energized, the normally open contact of button SBi and the normally open contact of speed relay
KV must both be closed, and the normally closed contact of KMi must be closed ( relay KM]
is released).
