Avnet China wins the "2023 DEI Employer Award (China)"
On the evening of December 18, 2023, Avnet China stood out in the selection of the Employer Brand Institute, a leading employer brand communication agency, and won the " 2023 DEI Employer Award (China Region) ".
The selection process, which lasted five months, comprehensively evaluated 506 outstanding companies from 23 industries across 10 categories, 21 dimensions, and 104 indicators of diversity, equity , and inclusiveness practices. This is one of the largest DEI assessment programs globally. Ultimately, Avnet and 60 other companies emerged victorious from the fierce competition to receive the first-ever DEI Employer®️ Award 2023 in China .
Over the past few years, Avnet has been actively promoting the implementation of a DEI culture. Since 2021, Avnet headquarters has established a DEI department, led by Claire Senga. By strengthening internal coordination, the department is committed to cultivating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture globally and inspiring employee creativity.
