On November 14th, the "2025 Global Semiconductor Market Summit," hosted by the World Integrated Circuit Association and organized by Xinhua Observation and Shijixie (Shanghai) Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd., was successfully held in Shanghai. Zhang Wei, Director of Supplier and Product Management Department IV of Avnet, represented Avnet at the event and delivered a speech entitled "A New Path for Domestic Chips to Go Global." From two dimensions—"How Avnet China Helps Chinese Chip Manufacturers Go Global" and "How Avnet China Serves Chinese Customers' China+1 Strategy"—the speech focused on three main directions: global distribution network support, regional cooperation breakthroughs, and compliance and ecosystem synergy. Combining Avnet's global resources and localized experience, the speech provided practical path support for Chinese semiconductor companies and end customers going global.

The global semiconductor market is currently entering a new stage of development. Although obstacles remain, potential and opportunities coexist. In this era of rapid change, semiconductor companies need to understand trends and tackle core technologies to stand out in the fierce market competition and lead the industry towards a more advanced and integrated direction.

The summit aimed to provide strategic guidance and decision-making references for the healthy development of the global semiconductor industry, helping Chinese chip companies to expand and achieve mutual benefit in the international market, and jointly promoting the global semiconductor industry to a new stage of development.
