The MAXQ3180 and MAXQ3183 are three-phase multifunction metering front ends ( AFEs ) that provide rich power monitoring features. Internally integrated 8-channel high-precision ADC . The digital signal processor (DSP) processes the ADC samples and provides a large amount of electric energy and power measurement parameter data, which is not limited to: active power, reactive power, apparent power and electric energy, power factor and harmonic measurement functions. Connected to the host controller via the integrated SPI™ port.
The MAXQ3180 and MAXQ3183 are two three-phase AFE devices from Maxim Integrated. MAXQ3181 is a three-phase active power metering chip. Table 1 lists the key features of the multi-phase AFE series devices.
