Application of LDO regulator TCR3UG series in IoT device power supply

 
Overview
• The TCR3UG series combines low current consumption (low quiescent current and low holding current) and fast load transient response characteristics. These devices are very suitable for battery-driven IoT devices that require low power consumption.
• This regulator has a lineup of 31 output voltages, with the output voltage ranging from 0.8V to 5.0V.
• Small ceramic input and output capacitors can be used with the TCR3UG series.

• Ultra-small package WCSP4F (0.645mm × 0.645mm (typ.), t: 0.33 mm (max.))
• Low quiescent bias current IB = 0.34μA (up to 1.5V output product, typ.) @IOUT = 0mA
Wide output voltage range (VOUT=0.8V to 5.0V)
• High ripple rejection ratio 70dB (0.8V output product, typical) @1kHz
• Fast load transient response ±60mV (0.8V output product, typical) @ 1mA⇔50 mA, COUT=1μF
• Low dropout voltage VDO=VIN-VOUT=155mV (3.3V output product, typical value) @IOUT=300mA
• Overcurrent protection function
• Thermal shutdown function
• Built-in automatic discharge function (TCR3UGxxA series )/No built-in automatic discharge function (TCR3UGxxB series)
• Inrush current reduction function (output voltage soft start)
