Alan Wang, a maker from Taiwan, used the MAX7219 LED module, the ESP8266-based D1 micro development board and MicroPython to develop a small tool that can update COVID-19 data in various countries in real time.
Alan discovered an API (COVID API) that can query data on MicroPython devices. Use the following link https://coronavirs-19-api.herokuapp.com/es/ {countryName} to query data for a specific country. Using Alan's device, users can quickly obtain the latest COVID-19 data in any country and understand the development of the epidemic in each country at any time.
