RT8110B synchronous rectification step-down 5V10A, maximum input voltage 30V, output current 10A, can be used for power supply and charging of 5V equipment. A radiator needs to be added to the MOS tube. It can be basically made at one time according to the circuit. Several NC parts are optional. Choose whether to install it according to the actual situation.
Circuit diagram:
Circuit introduction:
Circle 1: Voltage sampling circuit, which changes the voltage through resistor division. NC1 is a percentage adjustment resistor, an optional accessory.
Circle 2: RT8110B power supply circuit, the chip will not be damaged if it is not greater than 33V, and TVS protection is added to resist surges.
Circle 3: Input filter capacitor bank, maximum 33V.
Circle 4: Power MOS tube, the withstand voltage is greater than 55V.
Circle 5: Energy storage inductor and output capacitor group. The larger the inductor, the smaller the ripple.
Circle 6: Synchronous rectification controller chip, C8 is the bootstrap capacitor for the mos upper tube driver power supply, and C5 is the internal 5V power supply filter of the IC.
Friendly reminder, if the input voltage is greater than 28V, you need to modify the voltage value of the TVS tube! There is nothing wrong with the circuit, but the frequency and duty cycle of this chip are not high, resulting in low efficiency. During the 5V10A test, the mos heat was very serious, exceeding 100 degrees and lower than 110 degrees, but there was no damage!
