All ADC ports are protected and can withstand a certain degree of overvoltage to prevent accidental high voltage damage to the tester due to power supply problems. There are also voltage test points on the board, which can be measured with a multimeter to obtain a more accurate voltage.
The source code is all open and can be developed again to improve accuracy.
