15W Adapter Reference Design

REF-15W THINPAK ADAPTER

Overview

This is a 15W 5.0V / 3.0A USB adapter reference design using Infineon quasi-resonant PWM IC ICE2QS03G, CoolMOS™ IPL65R1K5C6S (ThinPAK 5x6), OptiMOS™ BSC067N06LS3G and high-speed switching diode BAS21-03W, with a slim plug profile and Multiple protection modes, suitable for high reliability systems.

Feature description

Output overshoot/negative pulse during dynamic load: ±3%
Maximum input power (peak power) over the full input range: Input power < ±5%
Efficiency > 86% at average efficiency in active mode (25%, 50%, 75% and 100% load)
Standby: < 50mW at no load
