Overview

This is a 15W 5.0V/3.0A USB adapter reference design using an AC-DC quasi-resonant PWM controller IC (ICE2QS03G), an IPAK packaged 700V CoolMOS™ P7 SJ MOSFET (IPS70R1K4P7S), an OptiMOS™ 60V low voltage power MOSFET ( BSC067N06LS3G) and high-speed switching diodes (BAS21-03W), shaped like slim plugs with various protection modes.

Feature description

  • Output overshoot/negative pulse during dynamic load: ±2%
  • Maximum input power (peak power) over the full input range: Input power < ±5%
  • Efficiency: >80% at average efficiency in active mode (25%, 50%, 75% and 100% load)
  • Standby: < 50mW at no load
