Big launch! Homemade odrive3.5V, 24V/30A!
1. Smaller size. 74mm long and 56mm wide, half smaller than the official version, but there is no difference in performance
2. Maximum supported input voltage: 24v, maximum continuous current: 30A
3. In terms of software, in the original firmware, an LCD thread is added, which can be passed The LCD display shows the status of the motor in real time
4. In terms of hardware, the communication interface (serial port, can, spi encoder, ABZ encoder interface, etc.) replaces the easily loose 2.54 pin header with a locking GH1.25 interface, which is more stable ,safer. Perfectly supports SPI encoder mode, no forward or reverse rotation is required when powering on!
5. The most important thing is that the driver chip DRV8301 is replaced by DRV8303, no need to change any code, just download the odrive firmware and you can use it. You can check how much DRV8301 costs on Taobao. It is basically around 70-80, and the DIY cost is greatly increased. I replaced it with the affordable DRV8303, which is about 12 pieces on Taobao, which reduces the DIY cost, but there is no difference in performance.
