ElectronBot Elite Edition - A2

 
Overview
     This version was designed in collaboration with greenshade, and the new project name is EB-Elite. It consists of three boards: EB-Elite_CT1 (head), EB-Elite_TF1 (sensor), and EB-Elite_DR1 (servo drive). Based on the previous version (initial version URL: ElectronBot Elite Edition - JLCPCB EDA Open Source Hardware Platform (oshwhub.com)), the PCB via design has been optimized. The initial via design was located in the middle of the SMT component pads. However, feedback from group members indicated that this could lead to solder leakage and cold solder joints during SMT processes. JLCPCB's pad-to-hole via process is expensive. Therefore, this version was specifically optimized to facilitate replication by group members. A power control port was also added to the sensor board for easy power-on/off control of the device.
     On September 13, 2024, a head DC-DC power supply version was added, replacing the 6210 to resolve the head overheating issue. 
     The head PCB power supply layout was redesigned, changing the 2P-SH1.0mm horizontal surface-mount terminals to a vertical layout for easier plugging and unplugging of wires.
     Improved PCB soldering auxiliary 3D model for easier soldering and assembly.
