Traditional docking stations use USB interfaces, but since our design will be a small square object, we'll use Type-C as the input and output, but we need to leave a power port to retain the portable WiFi's "powered connectivity" feature. [Approximate circuit diagram below] 
When soldering the portable WiFi antenna, be careful to find the actual antenna contacts!!!
