AVR ATMega8 board using PLL MC145170
This board allows management of an FM transmitter that includes a phase-locked loop (PLL) connected via a serial bus (SPI) such as the MC145170.
The current frequency is stored in the EEPROM so that the PLL can be configured upon power-on.
Three auxiliary frequencies can be used for maintenance functions and/or high-frequency adjustments.
The local interface includes four buttons and an LCD display for modifying transmitter parameters.
The board can be driven entirely via a serial link RS232 (19200 baud, 8 data bits, 2 stop bits, no parity).
A temperature sensor is used to control the operating temperature, and two analog inputs are used for high-frequency power measurement (forward and reflected).
Information regarding TOS protection activation is processed by this board to notify users (local and remote) of TOS alarms.
