One-digit display timer (NE555, CD4511, CD40192)

The digital display timer has the characteristic of clear and distinct display. It decodes the digital pulse signal representing the time through a digitizer and displays it with a digital display tube. This circuit introduces a digital display timer with a single-digit display. Its display unit depends on the unit of the time base signal. It can be "seconds", "minutes", or of course "hours". However, for a digital display timer, the unit of "hour" is too large. Due to the structure of this circuit, it is not easy to achieve accuracy, so it is rarely used. The circuit composition is shown in the figure. This circuit consists of a time base signal generator, a time counter, a digital decoder and a digital display.
