Overview

introduction

This reference design provides an idea for creating a PC-based temperature measurement system for evaluating the MAX6603 signal conditioner. The design uses two evaluation (EV) boards: MAX1396EVKIT and MAX6603EVKIT, and provides an easy-to-use software program .

The MAX6603 converts ambient temperature into a voltage signal via two platinum thermistors. MAX1396EVKIT converts the analog voltage signal output by MAX6603EVKIT into a digital signal. Afterwards, the MAX1396EVKIT transfers the data to the PC. The software converts the received data into temperature values and displays them on the screen.
