SLM6600 Single-cell Lithium Battery Charging Board

 
Overview
The chip is the SLM6600 synchronous step-down 3A lithium battery charging IC from Wuxi Songlang Microelectronics. It only has charging function and no discharging function. The peripheral circuit is simple, stable and reliable.
The charging current is adjusted by resistor R1, supporting a maximum charging current of 3.5A, but a heat sink is required, as the current will drop sharply as the temperature increases.
TIPS: D1 is an ESD diode, which enables hot-swapping of the battery; C1 and C2 can be 10uf-22uf; for hand soldering, it is recommended to use a 0805 package; R1 controls the current; R4 can be replaced with an NTC thermistor for battery over-temperature detection;
