2.5 GHz frequency counter
This project describes a very powerful frequency counter. The construction is very simple and anyone can build it. A 6-digit LED display will show the frequency at 1kHz resolution, and RS232 communication to a computer is optional. The software also implements some intelligent functions for calculating the frequency in the receiver, where the intermediate frequency is 455kHz or 10.7MHz. I have provided the schematics, PCB, components, and the software.
