The figure shows the ultrasonic liquid level indicating circuit composed of NE555 . The circuit consists of an ultrasonic transmitting circuit and a receiving circuit.
The ultrasonic transmitting circuit consists of 555, R1, W1, C1 and ultrasonic transmitting head UCM40T. The ultrasonic receiving circuit consists of a receiving head UCM40R that matches the transmitting head, cascade amplifiers BG1 and BG2, and a detection circuit. When the liquid level is close to the receiving head, the deflection angle of the voltmeter increases, and the closer the liquid level is, the greater the corresponding deflection angle is.
Since ultrasonic waves are not affected by the concentration and conductivity of the liquid being measured, this circuit is superior to the general contact liquid level display circuit and has higher accuracy.
