The TDA4863J/4863AJ is a deflection amplifier for vertical deflection systems with a maximum frequency of up to 200Hz. The TDA4863J requires a separate retrace supply voltage (up to 60V), so the supply voltage can be adjusted independently to achieve the best power consumption and retrace time.
The TDA4863AJ retrace supply voltage is generated by internal voltage doubling (the two supply voltages are DC coupled outputs only), so no separate retrace supply is required. Both circuits offer a differential input stage and are well suited for the TDA485X monitor deflection control series. The pinout of the TDA4863J/4863AJ is shown in the figure.
