function overview When CP=0, the flip-flop does not work and is in the maintenance state When CP=1, the function of the flip-flop is as follows: When T=0, the secondary state = current state; When T=1, the secondary state is opposite to the current state: the flip-flop flips. When CP=0, the flip-flop does not work and is maintained. State: When CP=1, the function of the flip-flop is as follows: When JK is 00, 01, 10, it realizes the function of RS flip-flop; when JK is 11, it realizes the function of T flip-flop. Example 1. Given the CP pulse of the T flip-flop and the input waveform of T, try to draw the output waveform. (As shown in the picture below)
Example 2. Given the CP pulse of the JK flip-flop and the input waveform of JK, draw the output waveform. (As shown in the picture above) Somersault and oscillation phenomena of basic flip-flops and their solutions (1) In the application of flip-flops, if the input signal of the control terminal changes during the CP pulse or the CP pulse is too wide, sometimes the flip-flop will have somersault and oscillation phenomena. It Destroys the balance of the trigger. (2) In order to solve this problem, the circuit design must be improved. There are three types of structures commonly used in practice: Master-slave flip-flop. Its types are: master-slave RS flip-flop, master-slave JK flip-flop. Maintain blocking triggers. Maintaining means that the trigger completes its scheduled function during CP; blocking means preventing the trigger from generating undue operations during CP. Its types are: maintain blocking D flip-flop. Edge trigger. It is divided into three situations: rising edge triggering, falling edge triggering, and rising and falling edge triggering at the same time. Edge triggering means that the output state changes at the moment when the CP pulse rises or falls.
