Overview
I. Introduction
This project is developed using ESP32 and Arduino, utilizing a DHT11 sensor to acquire ambient temperature and humidity, and obtaining the current time via network connection .
II. Functional Description
This environmental detector has temperature and humidity detection functions, time display functions, and automatic download functions.
1. Temperature and Humidity Detection Function:
Utilizing a DHT11 sensor, it can acquire the ambient temperature and humidity.
2. Time Display Function:
Utilizing the ESP32's Wi-Fi function to connect to the internet and obtain the time.
3. Automatic Download Function:
The board is equipped with a CH340 serial port chip and an automatic download circuit, allowing for one-click downloading via the serial port, making it more convenient to use.
III. Hardware Description
1. Power Supply Circuit
: This current and voltmeter uses an AMS1117 step-down chip and an LDO step-down circuit. Compared to a DC-DC step-down circuit, the advantages of an LDO are lower output voltage ripple, simpler peripheral circuitry, and lower design difficulty. DC-DC circuits require careful design to reduce output ripple, but their output current is higher than that of an LDO. However, in this project, due to the low power consumption of the microcontroller, the current output of the LDO step-down circuit is sufficient for the microcontroller's needs.
2. Charging Boost Circuit:
This uses a TP5400 charging boost chip to achieve battery charging boost functionality. Using an integrated chip reduces wiring complexity.
3. Serial Port Automatic Download Circuit:
This circuit connects the CH340 and ESP32 to achieve serial port program download functionality.
